Uniqlo New Season!

April 26, 2007

Uniqlo New Season

Been quite a while since i visited my favourite Japan fashion store, Uniqlo. Decided to check out the online store since i was wearing a very nice Uniqlo green tee just now. =)

Back in my last Japan trip, i really wished that i could just buy the whole shop back! Everything in there was just SO NICE! So colourful, so comfortable, so good quality control, so good materials used, so many nice designs, so many cute, helpful and friendly attendants (not like Bad Service: Zara, hmph)… with all these elements, shopping was so enjoyable, fun and made your purchases worthwhile! PLUS, everything was like tailored for me!!! =p

SIMPLY BREATHLESS when i was shopping in the GINZA outlet! Each Uniqlo outlet carries quite a different range, so i had to visit any Uniqlo outlet whenever i see one! They have a new Uniqlo concept tee outlet in Harajuku so sure must visit if i’m there!! Gotta save up liao! hee…

The new season seems fabulous and i think the Uniqlo online store has even more Tees, which might include those from the New York branch! So many designs i wanna buy la! *gasp*

Eugin-san, Bro-san or Sharon-hime, can help me buy ah??? i got so many to buy la! My size is M for their Tees ah! hahaa… *drool*

i heart Uniqlo!

hey Jamez-niichan, thanks for the kawaii link! LOVE IT! =D

Dedicating this to you, Jamez-niichan!

i love this song! The 井上陽水and奥田民生version is also very nice. KyonKyon really cannot sing live. Always a tad too high and off key, BUT she is really pretty, a natural performer, CM Queen and acts well!!! =)

Bro, here’s FADEOUT for you. Thanks for introducing KyonKyon to me, beside Akina! Fankeow!!! =D

This Love by Angela Aki

April 26, 2007

Another one of my favourite songs by Angela. She is really very into her performance. She sings well live and very enthusiatic about it!!! She sure is thankful to her fans and everyone from this clip. Very good entertainer and performer! Ikuyo! hee..

Standing beside Angela Aki is Daniel Powter, whom i’ve the honour to usher around backstage and looked after him during MAA06. Brings back old memories whenever i see him. Those good and fun days back in MTV. haha.. Natsukashi… =D

He is a very friendly and nice artiste! Certainly wish him all the best in his career. =)

The Good and Bad Service.

April 26, 2007

Going to an event with Bro this coming Friday so i need to get a pair of formal shoes to match what i’ll be wearing.

1st stop was at CK. It was a pleasant shopping experience as the female shop attendant was very nice, all smiley throughout, not pushy ( i hate those shop attendants that push you to buy things that’s not even nice!) and doesn’t stress you to buy those items you try on! Attentive throughout. Talk nicely. Good Service!

I had to see other designs first before deciding the ONE to get. So i went to…

the 2nd shop which was Venue. A male attendant served with a nice and friendly smile. He was very attentive and friendly too. Gave advice on what’s nice and what’s not suitable. Know his products and customers well. Even after purchasing from the shop, he will smile and carry the purchases to you. Good Service!

Still in Venue, i could not find a very matching one for my pants, so moved on to the 3rd shop.

ZARA. Used to be one of the middle-high end fashion shops over here. I used to like some of their stuffs as it was quite well made for a reasonable price. Recently, their SERVICES sucks! BIG TIME! First, most of the crew there seemed like the customers owe them 1 million, no, 10 million dollars. NO SMILE. BLACK FACE. i proceeded with Bro to find my shoes and finally found one that matched my pants. Tried on the sample shoes and it fitted well and nice. So i came out to look for a shop attendant for help. None was in sight. One of the male shop attendant that was helping Bro with his shoes, just walked away when he obviously heard our conversation that i needed a NEW pair! Does not even bother to ask if i needed help! (Duh!) Finally a girl from the cashier came over to put those hangers in the fitting room, so i approached her to get a new pair for me to try on.

She walked off and came back to me, telling me that there’s no more stock. So we requested her to check with the other outlets in the area to see if they have any stock available and we can just drop by to get it. She went off. We waited at the cashier for her for about 5 – 8 minutes and we heard nothing, so Bro and i decided to look for her. And there she was, hanging clothes in the kids section, not informing us whether she is making the call or if there’s ANYONE helping us.. nothing was heard from her. So we approached her and asked her if there’s any stock available. She said “Oh, my malay guy colleague calling ah”, and then she walked to the cashier (us following behind her) and disappeared again to look for her malay colleague. 1 minute later, she came back to tell us that the other outlet also no more stock.

So we decided to get the sample shoe that i tried on earlier, which was only displayed with the left side of the pair. She left again and came out with the right side, and told us to pay at the cashier in the female section below. Now, here’s the funny part… she did not even bother to give us a shoe box for my pair of shoes. We had to ask her if they have a shoe box and she went off again (for dunno how many times) and back with a shoe box. Finally we went down to make our purchases.

At the cashier section, 3 cashiers and 2 were closed, only the middle was opened. A gal was in front of me, which i found out later that she enquiring on something, so she moved to the 3rd cashier which was closed. So naturally i will be the next in line to be served by the middle cashier, BUT that not the case in ZARA i believe, another gal went to the 3rd cashier which was closed, was PUSHED to the middle cashier by maybe the manager of the outlet and was served first! WTF. ok.. this gal maybe arrived at the same time with me.. but i queued at the correct cashier and this gal went to the wrong cashier, in the end i had to wait for her mistake?

Its fine for let her pay first, but what i don’t like was how the “manager” requested me to wait. “You pay after her.” was the request. *Insert no smile and not even a friendly tone*. That’s really “A VERY GOOD SHOPPING EXPERIENCE” that you gave me, ZARA!

NOT ONCE hor, but TWICE at the same outlet! The one in Orchard Wheelock. VERY BAD SERVICE!

The other bad experience was just another stupid story by another black faced crew of theirs, but this really adds to my list of BAD SERVICE QUALITY EXPERIENCE!
