I heart Phantom of the Opera!

Spent an amazing and wonderful night at the Esplanade with Bro. Finally realising one of my dreams after 13 years of waiting. I can now shout loudly: “I HAVE SEEN THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA!!”.

I still remembered clearly how I envy my schoolmates who had the opportunity to watch it during that time. When they described it to me, I felt that it’s something that I must watch when it comes back! My sisters bought the sountrack back, when they were touring here, and it was one of my most played and cherished CD (but i lost it when moving house) during that time. However, back then, I was still young and could not appreciate the most out of this amazing musical!

So in a way, I’m glad that I watched at my current age so that I would be able to appreciate more from it! Of cos, watching it with Bro (who watched a few times and still loved it fondly, which goes to show how well-written it was) made the whole experience fun and memorable! makotoni arigatou gozaimasu, nii-dono!

I can only say that I TOTALLY enjoyed the whole show and was blown away by the details and singing of the Australian casts, even thou, Raoul wasn’t very fantastic as Christine and Phantom! He had a weak voice than the other 2 and doesn’t shine much even his role was a major one.

From the start of the POTO theme song, I was so touched by the experience that alot of things and memories were running through my mind while watching the musical. Indeed I was so touched that i cried when Christine sang “Think Of Me”. It just touched the bottom of my heart alot… (Time really flies and don’t come back, so cherish every moment you have and savour the taste of life, be it bitter or sweet!)

Below are some of my favourite songs from the musical that i managed to find to re-live the moments. I would love to go to the ACTUAL POTO Theatre in UK which Shaz-dono went! Shaz and Bro, maybe the 3 of us can go and watch the whole musical together in UK huh huh… Also would love to see the first ORIGINAL cast of Christine (Sarah Brightman) and Phantom (Michael Crawford) perform again! hahaha.. I need to also watch the movie version by Emmy Rossum, Patrick Wilson and Gerard Bulter.

Lucas is Baby Serene’s cutie lil gem!

He is so KAWAII that i cannot resist not doing up a collage, so that i can see him in one shot!

I always feel so happy and blissful whenever i visit Baby Serene’s blog to read about her experiences with Lucas and motherhood. I would go “awwwww… so cute!”.. hee.. always love that Johnson&Johnson baby powder and Ruyi Oil smell on babies… hee..

So much love! Seeing Lucas is as sweet as eating the sticky-chewy-toffee pudding from Michelangelo’s! =p

The Phantom who Runs, Lifts Weights and Swims…

Ran 1.5km, lifted 3 sets of weights workout and had a relaxing and leisure swim.

Had a great and yummy dinner over at Bro’s ah mah’s place. Absolutely delicious and real-soild-steady-comfort food for the taste bud and the heart! A homely place filled with lovely ah mah, aunties, uncle, brother and cousins! =D

Mothers’ Day coming soon! Need to plan something with my sisters for Saturday cos gonna watch Phantom of The Opera this coming Sunday! I have waited so long for the performance since (in my memory) it was last shown during my days in secondary 13 years ago. I was so envious with my schoolmates who got the chance to watch it during that time, cos the tickets were so expensive (not that it’s any cheaper now)!

Finally got my chance to watch it soon! So excited about it! =D

Cycle, Gym, Swim.

Been on an exercise mood. Cycle to Bro’s place, workout and then ending with a short swim. Wanna shred off the fats! Been getting too fat for my liking liao. yikes!

Exercise + Diet control + Weight Loss Formula+ Drink lotsa water. Gotta keep this regime till my next birthday or till i reached my goal!

Eat well, rest well, work well and stay healthy!

Trauma Center and Wii

Went to a friends’ gathering chalet last week. Had tons of work to do as it’s a weekend, but still gotta go down cos Josh gonna leaving for Koei Japan this coming September. Since i’m there, might as well enjoy myself and catch up with the gang! =)

Josh brought his Wii over and i managed to play this game while they were Mahjong-ing. Had so much fun with the Wii. haha..

This is an interesting game where you take on the role of a surgeon. Gameplay is pretty much of using the ultra-movement-sensitive Wii controller to take on the operation tools to operate on the patients! During those difficult operations, the main character has a special power to slow time, so as to give you more time to act on those emergencies! After finishing some of those operation scenarios, it will pretty much leave you sweating and breatheless! Like shooting a scene from ER! hee…

Trauma Center: Second Opinion is for Wii. Gonna find TC: Under The Knife for my nephew’s DS!

Been thinking of getting the Wii recently. Quite a number of interesting games and it provides a good workout with the Wii Sports. Was aching all over after playing the boxing, tennis, baseball and bowling games for like 6 hours!! haha.. Team up and have fun with your family and friends! Let’s Wii-off!

Santa, can give me a surprise this Christmas winter! haha. =p
