Mos Burger 海老パオ。

January 16, 2008

Mos Burger Ebi PaO

One of the yummy burgers that Bro and I had during the late late nite in Japan. The walk to the Mos Burger nearby where we stayed, had always been fun.

Upon entering the 24hr Mos Burger Shinjuku, we saw quite a number of people sleeping inside. They might be the homeless people, or those drivers in need of rest, or some might just wanna save some money after missing the train… The servers in Mos Burger dun really disturb/chase them and these “sleeping” customers would just get a soup and a drink there for a seat to rest/sleep.

Back to the food we ordered, the above Ebi Pao was their 限定 during that period. Recommended by Ranbi-san, we decided to go with the Chilli Ebi Pao with side orders like fries and black pepper chicken. The Pao was really nice and the ebi patty was fresh and delicious! The sauce felt like chilli sauce so it was not a woohaa.. lol. Overall, the taste was fresh and good. =) We should have more different kinds of limited burgers over here… more choices!!! ^^

Ahhh!~~~ missed the food in Japan… thou I love my BarChorMee, Wanton Mee, ShuiJiaoMee and Bakuteh in Singapore. *muahahaha…

We are seriously in need of cafes like Doutor in Singapore!

Cheap, Delicious, Fresh and Cosy enough for friends to chit-chat the day away…

I just love all their Sando set, Millecrepe, Ice Coffee Mocha and Kohi! 素晴らしいね。

The mocha latte… the brown sugar latte… the tuna sando… arghhh…

Dango & Mochi

July 10, 2007

Kyodango & Warabi Mochi

Woot.. i’m back from Japan for quite a while. Kinda of busy being “Ah Soh” (insert “Daisy Duck – What u looking at huh?” look)… Been helping Bro with his big move to his new LOVELY house, which he officially moved in on 22 June 2007.

Since my return from the land of rising sun, i had been having cravings for their sweet desserts and ramen! Therefore, when i was running some errands in Wheelock last week, i decided to try out Sun With Moon’s Afternoon Tea. Lotsa food-watering desserts to choose from, but i decided to go with Dango & Mochi! hee..

Ordered “Kyodango & Warabi Mochi” and a pot of “Strawberry Vanilla Tea”, which cost only $2 as they were having an afternoon tea promotion. The mochi and dango tasted really nice and yummy… and together with the Strawberry Vanilla Tea, it was a very good match of taste…. hee.. felt so happy that the desserts were able to satisfy my cravings…

A lovely and sweet tea break. =p
